Product Description
This booklet is meant to replace the letter tiles portion of each Saxon Phonics lesson. Teachers open to the relevant lesson, have students spell and code the provided words on whiteboards, and do a group check for accuracy. Words are selected that allow students to practice not only with the lesson’s target skill, but with previously-learned skills as well. Estimated time: 8-10 min/lesson.
Bonus: Description of three whole-group practice games the teacher may wish to use prior to giving assessments.
